Amazon Books is Coming to Denver
It turns out last month’s rumor of a new Amazon Books store in Denver was half true; there is a store in the works, only it won’t be located in the Cherry Creeks neighborhood.
Amazon is now listing a Denver address on its page for Amazon Books locations, and they have also posted a job opening for a Amazon Books store manager for that location.
The new store will be located in the Park Meadows mall, just down from one of Amazon’s pop-up stores. Counting the not-yet-announced store in Atlanta, this will be Amazon 18th bookstore.
Amazon currently operates 13 bookstores in seven states, as well as several hundred pop-up stores selling electronics, and 473 Whole Foods.

Ouch. Not exactly Denver, more like south south south south Denver. Maybe I’ll get out there next time I have to make the slog to Ikea.
