Kindle Unlimited Funding Pool Rose in May 2018

In spite of cheats like Chance Carter, the third largest ebook market in the world continued to expand in May 2018.

Amazon announced on Friday that the Kindle Unlimited funding pool total $22.5 million in May (plus bonuses – most of which went to the cheats) up from $21.2 million in April 2018. At the same time the per-page rate royalty hovered at $0.00454 in May, compared to $0.00456 in April and $0.004449 in March 2018.

I know you like to focus on the cheaters that Amazon seems to be letting get away with it, but most stores figure into their numbers that they won’t be able to stop each and every shoplifter without locking the store down so tight that no one would want to shop there.

So let’s focus on the page scammers. Do we know for a fact they blinked Amazon’s KU for over ten million(50%) A million(<5%)? $225K(1%)? Without facts we don't know how bad things really are or how well/poorly Amazon is over/under reacting.
