Morning Coffee - 24 August 2018 Morning Coffee

Here are a few stories to read this Friday morning.

About Nate Hoffelder (9910 Articles)
Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."

  1. No matter the bookstore plan, if it doesn’t have what the reader wants to buy at a good price then they’re not going to make it …

I guess no one’s told them about all the kits and plans already out there for making a gun that won’t fall apart after a few shots. That, or they’re going to try to use this as a thin wedge to ban even more later … it’ll fail, but this way they can pretend to the voters that they are ‘doing something’.

Flash-animated books? Might be good for comic books, but not for reading a story (and when reading I don’t need flashy distractions!)
