    Golly that link about how local artists are a gold mine for local bookstore sure confirms my sperging on the subject. Specifically, local bookstores need to be a focal point for culture acting as a neighbourhood micropublisher, community paralibrary, and writer’s workshop/conferences for locals and invitees.
