Apple & Audible Release Six Public Domain Audiobooks for Free
Apple kicked off a new ebook marketing push yesterday with a new affiliate toolbox, and as part of that marketing effort it has also released six audiobooks in partnership with Audible.
The books are all classics in the public domain, and five of them are narrated by celebrities. (The sixth was narrated by "Disney Book Group".)
The six titles are: .
- The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett, narrated by Karen Gillan
- Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, narrated by Aaron Mahnke (the Lore podcast)
- The Time Machine by H.G. Wells, narrated by Kelsey Grammer
- Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen, narrated by Kate Beckinsale
- The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, narrated by Tituss Burgess
- Winnie the Pooh, narrated by Disney Book Group
As I am without an iThing, I can’t download the audiobooks. Can you tell me how they sound?

Why does the title say these are also free on Audible? There are no links to the Audible titles and I can’t find them free on Audible.com
