Basic Kindle Now Comes Bundled With Three Months Kindle Unlimited

Amazon is running a long-term special on their entry-level Kindle. Starting some time in December, Amazon quietly bundled a 3-month subscription to Kindle Unlimited.

Three months of Kindle Unlimited has a retail cost of $29.97, and that is a pretty good deal if you were planning on subscribing to Kindle Unlimited anyway.

Those of us who are not so inclined would probably prefer that Amazon bring back the sales they used to have, when the basic Kindle was sold for as low as $49 (that’s what I paid when I last bought one).
