Here are a few stories to read this Friday morning.
- There’s a lab in the UK conducting archaeological research based on the parchment used in really old books.
- Amy Collins shares the latest do’s and don’ts of book marketing.
- A startup would have you beleive that their bot writer is so good that they don’t dare release it.
- Kayla Rae Whitaker believes you should turn off your phone to write.
- My latest newsletter details four website-related scams I have encountered.
I would add a warning to your next newletter, phrased as you like – those web hosting and domain registration scams are often actually targeted at small businesses that have someone handling the routine bills. THAT is the person who is likely to be scammed. If you’re a writer and have an accountant who receives and pays bills, discuss this with them.
Yes, I think I missed a number of tips I could have included. Thanks!
