Kindle Paperwhite and the Kindle Are on Sale for $89, $69
Remember when I said the new basic Kindle wasn’t a good value (at $10 more than the previous model) because you could frequently find the Kindle Paperwhite on sale for $89?
Well, it just happened again.
Amazon has put the new basic Kindle and the Kindle Paperwhite on sale for Mother’s Day. The new basic Kindle has been marked down $20, to $69, while the Kindle Paperwhite is selling for $89.
Both Kindle models have frontlights and touchscreens, but the Paperwhite has a 300PPI with over three times as many pixels and 8GB of storage. It’s only $20 more, and it’s clearly the better value.
