Here are a few stories to read this Monday morning.
- The “Reclaim Her Name” project is re-publishing the works of 25 female authors who had been forced to use a male pseudonym.
- People are worried over the death of the used bookstore. I’m not, because the largest bookstore in my area is a used bookstore (it’s bigger than the B&N store, yes).
- The Guardian thinks 600 books being published in one day is a lot, bless their hearts.
- Texas libraries are banding together to negotiate better prices from extortionate journal publishers.
- A used bookstore owner a couple towns over from me has been accused of raiding Little Free Libraries.
- There’s an art exhibit in Genoa right now that focuses on imaginary languages.
- Trad Pub is loath to admit it, but the pandemic is boosting ebook and audiobook sales.
