Amazon is Beta-Testing New Author Pages
I just read in the 20Booksto50K Facebook group that you can now find a couple different author pages on Amazon.com. The old page, which is shown below (link), features different styling from the new page, which is shown above (link).
Aside from the difference in appearance, the pages are fundamentally the same. If you would like to see a new page, all you have to do is find the Amazon product code for an author (their ASIN) and add it to the end of this URL:
https://www.amazon.com/kindle-dbs/entity/author/
For example, Joanna Penn’s ASIN is B002BM8ICW, and her new author page can be found here.

Maybe I haven’t had enough coffee, but they look the same to me, both with Steven King’s page and my own.

On my computer, there is a big difference: the new page has buy buttons right next to the book listings, and the old one does not, so you would have to click through to the individual book pages in order to purchase.
