Anderson netbook is also a book

Here’s another concept design from DesignBoom. This gadget is one of those crossover devices. It’s not quite a tablet, netbook, or ebook reader, but the design does raise some interesting possibilities.

In general term this is a netbook with unusual dimensions, but what sets it apart is a pivot hinge. The screen and keyboard are connected at just the one point – at the corner. This lets the user rotate the screen so it is behind or beside the keyboard.

That hinge is a structural weakness, so we’re probably never going to see this device. But it would be nice to have the option of having the screen in 2 different positions.
