BookieJar now selling ebooks through Kobo
The self-pub writing community BookieJar announced today that they’d signed a new deal with Kobo. You’ll soon be able to buy ebooks written and uploaded by BookieJar members in the Kobo ebookstore.
The site opened their doors in October of last year, but didn’t officially launch until May 2011. They describe themselves as "an innovative and unique eBook marketplace and social media platform for eBook publishers and self-published writers, allowing them to sell eBooks and interact with readers using a purpose-built social networking platform." They also explicitly support and encourage novels under active development.

This is the first I’m hearing about a site called Kobo. Would you mind giving me a little more information about it. I published a book through Amazon.com for the Kindle in April and I’m looking to get it into some other places.
Thanks!
