Gajah M7003 Gingerbread tablet clears the FCC

The biggest-ebook-reader-maker-that-you’ve-never-heard of sent another Android tablet through the FCC this week.

The M7003 is very different from their last Android tablet, and it’s rather ordinary looking. It’s using a standard 7″ (800×480) resistive touchscreen, and it’s running Gingerbread on a Roockchip CPU. It has Wifi, a microSD card slot, speaker/mike, and the usual hardware buttons for Android. I can’t tell how much Flash storage it ships with, though.

The user manual doesn’t tell much about the apps that ship with it, but then again that will be up to Gajah’s partners. This hardware is up for license and hopefully it will show up somewhere under a new brand.

Past partners of Gajah include Elonex, Aluratek, Delstar, Kogan, and others.
