Introducing the LomoBook (video)

The social photography site Lomography might not be well known outside of viewfinders, but it appears to have inspired at least one concept video for a device which can take and share photos. Mike Cane found the following video over the weekend, and from what I can see the tech and abilities are still beyond the reach of most gadgets makers.

The video is the work of Michiel Van de Veire, the creative mind behind Webslash. He put it together as part of a student project for Devine.be, an art school.

The device in the video is also something of an inside joke. Lomography is dedicated to film photography. A digital camera, no matter how capable and feature rich, would be anathema to the very idea of the site.
