iPad Mini (2019) Features Pencil Support, A12 Bionic CPU, Costs $399 and Up
On Monday Apple announced the 5th-gen iPad Mini. The 2019 received a much needed specs boost; it now runs on the same A12 Bionic chip found in the new iPad Air and Apple’s smartphones and features improved cameras as well as the same Wifi, Bluetooth, and LTE performance that’s built into the latest iPad Pro models while still keeping the headphone jack found in previous iPad mini models.
Perhaps best of all, the new iPad Mini also has first-generation Apple Pencil support.
All in all, Apple’s smallest tablet is also arguably its best value, given the price and hardware. The iPad Mini (2019) is up for pre-order today for $399.
