The only thing missing from the first one was a little note at the end stating: "This was a paid advertisement for Penguin Random House". The ADS was a bit too strong, as was the "You want/need the gatekeepers at Penguin Random House telling you what’s good to read!"
Even funnier was one of the replies pointing out that even if you do go to Penguin Random House’s site and try to buy a ebook from them – it redirects you to Amazon – so the only breakup/independence from using Amazon was in the OP’s mind.
