- Amazon stole Kobo’s thunder by announcing the new Kindle the same day the Kobo Forma went up for pre-order. Kobo responded by publishing an essay pondering the endurance of the ereader.
- This book made of cheese really takes the cake.
- Sony wants to use blockchain in DRM.
- Confusion pops up at the pop-up bookstore.

Eh. I like Tamblyn. And it’s good to have an alternative to Amazon. And hell, even I’m interested in an eInk device: the Likebook Mars. Its multifunctionality breaks the single-use case, but the non-reading stuff would fall into Emergency Tablet category. I would have liked to have had a tabletized Nook Simple Touch in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy!
