Onswipe now out of private beta

Jason Baptiste¬† just announced that Onswipe’s insanely broken tablet publishing service was now out of beta, which might explain why the publisher’s dashboard appears to have crashed.

I got an account a few days ago, and right now I cannot do anything. None of the parts of the dashboard (settings, sources, design) respond when I click on them.

If and when it runs, it should be an interesting service. It accepts content from quite a few platforms, including: WordPress, Tumblr, Instagram, Flickr, and many others. You can also give it any valid RSS feed as a source. It also has a surprising amount of formatting options, including:

  • 33 Unifying Styles
  • 5 Cover Layouts
  • 6 TOC Layouts
  • 5 Article Layouts
