Watch the NYPL’s Rose Reading Room Get Reshelved with Books (video)

The NYPL recently installed a book train as part of a major renovation at its main branch.  That project lasted years and cost millions of dollars, and for example included a renovation of the RoseMain Reading Room.

All of the books were removed from that room before the renovation, and they were recently restored shortly before the the 78′ by 297′ room, with 52-foot-tall ceilings, reading room was opened to the public.
