Newspaper Map

This is a new website that's all the rage right now. It helps you find and read any of nearly 10 thousand newspapers. For a lot if the papers you cna user Google Translate to convert them to English (for what that's worth).

Do you know what could be interesting? If someone integrated this with Twitter (in, not out) You could here about an event in a distant city and then see what the local coverage says.

I wonder when they'll integrate blogs?  There are a number of sites like Patch.com that offer hyperlocal coverage. that might be a faster source of breaking news. now that I think about it, it would be useful if there were a related map of just twitter locations.  That way you could find eyewitness reports of local events as they happen.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader:"I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
