Hello world!

This is the inaugural post of my new blog.  Greetings and salutations.

My name is Nate Hoffelder (aka Nate the great), and for the last 2 years I’ve been part of the moderator team at MobileRead Forums.  It’s a community that’s dedicated to ebook and ebook readers, and being part of it is a pleasure.

One of my contributions to MR was gathering ebook related news. I’ve decided to start this blog becuase I believe I can build it into a valuable resource.

Nate, I look forward to reading your blogs even if I don’t always agree with your views :). Good luck.

This is the first time I’ve gone out and done something completely on my own. I didn’t realize how different things would be. It’s difficult to put into words, but I like the feeling I get from knowing that I’m not relying on anyone but myself. I can’t slack off and let someone else deal with a problem.

As you will soon discover, which I have discovered on my own blog, it doesn’t take long before finding something to say becomes a real job. I have decided that for me it is easiest to dedicate Saturday’s to drafting my posts for the following week. You will need to find something that works for you in order to keep up interest — both yours and readers’.

Nah. This is partly going to be a news aggregator blog, so new topics will find me.
