Goodreads is Beta-Testing a New Android App

Goodreads  has been quietly testing a new version of its Android app which is described by early users as "a bit nicer to navigate, with less nesting in areas like the "My Books" tab". The beta app, which so far as I can tell was just launched, is promised to be "faster, redesigned, and overall more usable".

It’s currently missing some features, and according to the FAQ the developers are still working on adding features so you can:

  • Find and add your Facebook friends
  • Add custom shelves (tags)
  • Add books to your custom shelves (tags)
  • View your Kindle Notes & Highlights support
  • Use the app without creating an account or logging

You can find the app in Google Play, and read more about it in the FAQ.

That’s funny because i just deleted the app from my phone because I didn’t care for it at all. Maybe this version will be better.
