iBooks Renamed to Apple Books, Gains Reading Now Tab, Bookstore, Audiobook Section
Apple is making its big announcements today at WWDC, and they shared a few details about Apple’s ebook app.
iBooks is getting a huge update as well as a new name when iOS 12 is released. It is now called Apple Books, and it’s going to feature an updated library view that puts a better emphasis on your content as well as a new Apple Books bookstore that includes a section for audiobooks.
Best of all, it will have a “Reading Now” section when you first open the app, showing you a live preview of the book you most recently were reading and where you left off.
iOS 12 is in beta right now. So far as I can tell, the official release date has not been announced.

If it doesn’t allow more customization of fonts, margins and line spacing – it will still be unlikable and unusable.

I want the app to prevent "screen timeout" or allow me to set a longer time. I normal use one minute as the universal rule, but it is not enough when I am reading a book in the app. It is stupid to set the universal to a longer time.
