Flexphone is your phone, tablet, and handheld rolled into one device

Piotr of Password Incorrect found an interesting video today. Someone’s come up with a new concept smartphone that has multiple screen size possibilities. The picture above shows the 3 options this flexphone would have. I assembled it from several screen shots from the video.

This phone is just a concept, but it strikes me as having the same idea as the Polymer Vision Readius I showed you about a month ago. I only had the single render to show you at the time and I’m glad this video came along. It shows a few of the ways you could use a smartphone with an expandable screen.

I came here from the future, and it’s eerily fantastic to see how early these concepts were. And also how bold – we still haven’t got to such tiny besels, or sleek format, in 2022.
