It’s Not Just You: Amazon Prime Had an Outage Wednesday Night
Amazon is having the most peculiar outage tonight. Some time around 8pm eastern Wednesday night, Amazon mysteriously lost my, and many other people’s, Prime memberships.
There’s been no coverage of the outage yet, but a check of the Amazon Video apps on my Kindle Fire and iPad shows that I cannot watch Prime Videos for free. And since my subscription is good until 24 February 2020 (I double checked), it’s pretty clear that Amazon is having a snafu somewhere.
And I am not the only one affected.

This just happened to me too…

The good news is I got my Prime membership back at about 9pm. I do not know whether other affected subscribers were similarly lucky, however.
How long was your service out?
