More Videos Playing on E-ink

Can’t get enough of yesterday’s Nook Touch fast refresh news? Well, here’s another clip of video playing on E-ink.

Mike Cane dug this one out of his "favorites" collection of YouTube videos. It shows a ninja action movie done with stick figures, played out on 6″ E-ink screen.

The clip dates to 2009, and by today’s standards it’s pretty ordinary. A lot of E-ink devices have a refresh rate this fast now.

But I think this video is still worth watching. Call me juvenile, but the sight of stick figures throwing knives at each is fun to watch.

there’s a few other out there of the Next Papyrus development of fast scrolling etc. I’ve kept up a correspondence with the CEO for a couple/3 years now. I think Nate used my device for the review but he was not as fond of it as I am. Its the perfect size for a 6 inch reader for me an despite a couple of quirks in the file system its pretty nice. they were working on a couple of accesories for it including a light that was powered through the mini usb and also they had worked with a 10″ device but it just seems that the last year or so it was just too difficult to do a 10″ device well
