Kobo Announces Beta Program

From the Kobo blog:

Here at Kobo we are always developing cool new features for our customers to enjoy. We often receive customer emails asking for a sneak peak at our latest versions or asking when features will be included in upcoming releases.

Today we are opening the doors to our customers by announcing the Kobo Beta Program!  By signing up you can get early access to the latest software and have the opportunity to provide feedback on our apps before they are released to the world. We want to deliver you the very best eReading experience so the Beta Program is open to anyone who’s interested, provided you don’t mind sharing your thoughts with us so that we can incorporate your feedback into the final versions.

They're also asking for volunteers to test the beta versions of the Kobo Apps for Blackberry and Android (this one won't be ready for another 3 weeks). You can sign up here.

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
