Gateway Community College expands library to more than 6k ebook titles

The Hartford Courant is reporting:

The Gateway Community College library's collection of books has expanded more than 50 percent with the recent addition of more than 22,000 eBooks to its online catalog, bringing the total collection available to students to more than 60,000 books.

The full texts of the new titles, which were added from NetLibrary and ebrary, can be read on a computer or compatible electronic reader device. They are all searchable from the library's online catalog. Ogbaa said most of the titles came from ebrary, which allows users with iPhone and Kindle to instantly view documents with a single click.
