Books-A-Million to give away one e-reader everyday in July

From the press release:

In an effort to introduce more customers to digital reading, Books-A-Million, Inc. will give away one eReader each day during the month of July. Every customer who purchases an eBook at during the promotion will be automatically entered to win.

There are actually 2 announcements here. The first is that if you buy an ebook you'll be entered into a contest to win an ereader. The second announcement is that BaM sells ebooks. Honest to goodness, I did not know that. They just launched the ebookstore.

FYI: Books-a-Million is a US based bookstore chain with 200 locations. They have decent prices for a brick & mortar; I used to shop there sometimes (before I went digital).

Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
