Blog Update

I'm killing the Elsewhere on the Web widget in the far right column, and I thought the handful of people who like it might want an explanation.

I removed the widget down becuase I'm not happy with the formatting. The linked website's base URL is mashed on to the title link. (I've actually gone through 5 RSS feed widgets and they all do the same thing.) I replaced the widget with the Elsewhere on the Web page that I've had up for the past month.

I've found another new way to do an RSS feed on a page. It's called Syndicate Press, and it was developed by Henry Ranch. It's not quite what I want, but I think it's a step up from what I already had.

P.S  If you follow me through an RSS feed, you might not know that I maintain a second feed with links to stories that are related to my blog. Here's the URL, in case you're interested:

About Nate Hoffelder (11474 Articles)
Nate Hoffelder is the founder and editor of The Digital Reader: "I've been into reading ebooks since forever, but I only got my first ereader in July 2007. Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
