The Russian tech company Texet have announced that they will soon be selling a 7" Android tablet. The TM-7101 runs Android v2.1 on a 600MHz Rockchip RK2818 CPU, with an unknown amount of Flash or RAM. But we do know it has Wifi and a microSD card slot. Texet also are promising Access to the Marketplace, but I'll believe that when I see it.
Pardon me for not giving more information, but Texet didn't provide it. That raises a red flag in my mind. But on the upside it has a Rockchip CPU, which gives me hope that it will have better than average PMP abilities.
Retail is set at 7,990 rubles (~$260), and it should ship in January.

Everything quickly spiraled out of control from there. Before I started this blog in January 2010 I covered ebooks, ebook readers, and digital publishing for about 2 years as a part of MobileRead Forums. It's a great community, and being a member is a joy. But I thought I could make something out of how I covered the news for MobileRead, so I started this blog."
