Indie Author Day is a one-day international event for authors to collaborate with their local libraries.
Last year, nearly 10,000 authors and 300 libraries across the United States and Canada participated.
This year, Indie Author Day is going to be held on the 14th of October, and organizers are expecting at least a 50% increase, reaching a combined total of 450 libraries in the Uk, US, and Canada, with over 15,000 authors in attendance.
Libraries across North America will host local events, giving authors a chance to unite through library systems both physically and digitally, and an opportunity to meet, network, make friends, and form business partnerships.
Join the second international Indie Author Day, as libraries across the world host local events for their writing communities on October 14th, 2017. These events unite independent and self-published authors in their libraries to participate in author panels, book readings and signings, workshops, presentations and more. Participants will also have access to expert advice provided in workshop videos made by industry experts on everything from book design and distribution to drafting, editing and beyond.
