Interesting time for DC area paper book lovers—three bookstore openings in the space of a week: new Politics and Prose branch in NoMa (gorgeous store), Solid State Books on H St., and now the new Amazon. They’re still hanging in there, folks.

I prefer action packed genre covers at any time. (But then, I’ve been studying covers for two or three different genres for the last six month, learning about what works, what doesn’t, and what differs from genre to genre. It’s an art.)
